The Life of a Wedding Photographer

I thought it might be fun to post some thoughts and pictures from each wedding in the upcoming weekends. Last weekend I did a wedding for a wonderful friend of mine and his beautiful wife - Clark and Georgina. The wedding was down by San Antonio's beautiful Riverwalk in the Little Church of La Vallita - I woke up feeling horrible with the flu - sweaty and light headed - and to make matters worse it was an EXTREMELY humid day - the suit I had on felt like it weighed a ton - but the show must go on as they say and besides waiting for the Riverwalk boat to pick us up for 45 minutes in that humidity (thankfully my wife Julie kept me hydrated by handing me bottles of water to drink) it turned out to be a beautiful wedding and reception! Clark and I have been friends for years and have made several trips to Alaska together - Clark is a real outdoorsman and fellow photographer - we weren't just regular tourists - he knew how to handle the wilderness and taught me more things than I probably needed to know - but some of those memories are some of my most memorable in life....I wish he and Georgina the best life has to offer!
